What does hunger look like in Australia?

Foodbank End Hunger Report 2013 cover thumbnailThe annual Foodbank ‘End Hunger in Australia’ Report puts the spotlight on the growing issue of food insecurity in Australia. It identifies that in this ‘lucky country’ there is an increasing number of people who are unable to put food on the table for themselves or their families. The survey highlights that charities do not have the resources they require to meet the need within the community and so people in crisis seeking help are being turned away empty handed.
