Foodbank Queensland does not accept food donations from members of the public, schools or fundraising teams.

To operate as efficiently as possible and support the most people in need, Foodbank Queensland source and rescue food on a very large scale from registered food retailers, farmers and manufacturers only. Collecting food on a large scale helps our charity to supply the most food to our network of over 350 front-line charity members in the most cost-effective way possible.

If you are an individual, school, or fundraising team looking to collect and donate food, we recommend finding a local charity or shelter that may be able to accept your food relief donation directly. To find a local food relief charity to support near you, visit www.askizzy.org.au

Mike's Story

“Food makes the kids happy because they know they've got something in their stomachs. It's having the ability to actually feed your children and seeing them eat and be stronger and nourish their little minds.” - Mike
