Our Impact
Since 1995, Foodbank Queensland has worked to ensure no one goes hungry.
We rescue quality food through strong partnerships and distribute it to communities in need, supporting individuals, families, schools, and community organisations across the state.
As demand grows, we remain committed to expanding our reach so more Queenslanders can access fresh, nutritious food.
We’re working towards a Queensland without hunger because…
1 IN 5
Queensland households continue to experience hunger each year.
480,000
households in Queensland experienced hunger in the past 12 months.
24%
of Queensland households with dependent children are experiencing severe food insecurity.
Nearly 1 in 4
households in regional Queensland faced severe food insecurity in the past year.
How We Make an Impact
What We Do
Foodbank Queensland sources and rescues surplus food from across the supply chain, distributing it through a network of Community Partners and schools to support Queenslanders in need.
Alongside delivering vital food relief, we work with communities to build stronger, more resilient local food systems and create long-term solutions to hunger across the State.
