Foodbank SA, RAA and Let’s Go Caravan & Camping Show collaborating to help flood-impacted communities

Foodbank SA is proud to be working together with RAA and Let’s Go! Caravan & Camping Show to fight hunger in South Australia.

Foodbank SA provides food relief to over 135,000 South Australians every month. One third of those struggling are children.

Foodbank and RAA have partnered together to ensure regional South Australian families doing it tough can access food relief via the RAA Foodbank Mobile Food Hubs. The Mobile Food Hubs are grocery stores on wheels, providing low cost and free food to support individuals and families in need in South Australia. Our Mobile Food Hubs deliver more than 30,000 meals monthly across the state, from the outer suburbs of Adelaide to the Adelaide Hills, Victor Harbor, Barossa, Clare, Kadina the greater Riverland area, and more.

Between Friday 17 February and Sunday 19 February one of the RAA Foodbank Mobile Food Hubs will be at the Let’s Go! Caravan & Camping Show to raise awareness and funds to support families in need in flood-impacted communities in SA.

Foodbank SA is the primary provider of food relief for those in flood-impacted communities. We support people in need from our Murray Bridge Warehouse and Murray Bridge Food Hub to support people in the Murraylands. The Riverland community is supported via our Riverland operation located in Berri and via the regional Mobile Food Hub servicing Riverland towns including Berri, Renmark, Waikerie, Loxton, Barmera and more.

Come find us at Let’s Go! Caravan & Camping Show to find out more about the way the Mobile Food Hubs operate and how you can help us feed those that need it most in the flood-impacted communities.

You can buy a refillable SA Water Bottle for $5, which provides 10 meals to people in need, donate at the RAA Foodbank Mobile Food Hub site or RAA site whilst at the Caravan & Camping Show, or why not try your luck and purchase a raffle ticket to win the Foodbank Ultimate portable BBQ Prize including a Weber Q and BBQ accessories valued at over $500.

For every $1 you help provide 2 meals to South Australians in need. Your donation will help feed those people that need it most in flood-impacted communities in the Riverland and Murrayland regions.
