At Foodbank we believe everyone should have access to good quality food. We’re here for the everyday Australians who are going without.
And it’s our job to help change that.
We work with our network of 2,929 charities and 3,220 school breakfast programs to get over 92 million meals out to those who could use a hand every year.

Foodbank community partners are crucial to fighting hunger
In NSW and the ACT, we provide food to more than 1,400 community partners and schools, ranging from large service providers like the Salvation Army and St Vincent de Paul to small neighbourhood and community groups.
Once our community partners receive food and grocery items from Foodbank, they distribute these items to their local community by providing affordable groceries, emergency hampers, prepared meals, community kitchens, and food preparation classes.
When a new Community Partner reaches out to us, the journey begins with a simple sign-up but the support doesn’t stop there.
Frequently asked questions:

1. Registration: They register through the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) and submit required insurance documents.
2. Site Visit: A member from our Impact and Engagement team will endeavour to visit their location to get to know them, see their space and understand how food will be distributed.
3. Onboarding: Our Support Services team will set them up with ordering systems, logins and a Welcome Pack.
4. Ongoing Support: Our team reviews every order put through our system line-by-line. They manage up to 41 pickup orders going in and out of our warehouse every day.
