Team Volunteering

Volunteering as a team with Foodbank is a great way to inspire staff and bring your brand values to life – all while supporting people doing it tough.
There are around 370,000 people in WA going without regular meals. Can you help us get nourishing food to more plates around the state?
Book your volunteer dayWe have team volunteering days suitable for groups of six to 12 people from organisations.
There are also options available for smaller teams of two to four people.
Your team could be creating delicious meals in our Community Kitchen, helping customers shop at Foodbank, or picking and packing produce in our warehouse. However you help with food charity volunteering, you’ll be making a direct difference in the community!
There’s ample free parking at our Perth branch and we provide full briefing and training for every team so no experience is needed. We encourage you to wear your organisation’s logo and share your day on social media as you help us provide food relief!

Volunteering FAQs
The day typically starts at 8.30am with an overview of the position and a safety briefing and concludes at approximately 3.00 pm.
All volunteers must wear steel caps boots and shirts with sleeves. Corporate volunteers can wear sturdy enclosed shoes if they do not have steel cap boots. We recommend long jeans for safety and comfort.
We provide all volunteers with high-visibility vests or aprons if working in the Community Kitchen.
In winter the warehouse gets cold, so it is a good idea to bring a jacket or light pullover.
You can bring your own lunch or there is a lunch bar approximately 400 metres from the Perth branch on Grogan Road. We have a volunteer kitchen with tea and coffee facilities.
