FACE TO FACE FUNDRAISING

Foodbank NSW & ACT uses face to face fundraisers across NSW and the ACT to gain new supporters. You may have had one of our fundraisers knock on your door or meet you in a shopping centre to have a conversation with you about the reality of food insecurity in Australia and Foodbank’s programs to fight hunger.

Why do we use fundraisers?

By using fundraisers, it is an extremely cost effective way for us to fundraise and inspire new supporters about our work. Our fundraisers get to have important conversations with people and educate them about the face of hunger in Australia and what they can do to help out. By engaging with people face to face we are able to answer questions about our programs and food insecurity that many wouldn’t otherwise have a chance to ask! We continuously monitor our fundraiser’s activity to ensure it is as cost effective as possible.

How can I tell if they are a legitimate fundraiser?

All of our fundraisers will have a Foodbank branded T-shirt and a lanyard with their identification on them to show they are a registered fundraiser.Face to face fundraising Staff involve wear Foodbank branded T-shirt
