VGW Holdings helps us to expand our Everyday Food Essentials range

Opening the pantry and having access to basic pantry items or food essentials is something many of us take for granted. Thanks to a generous donation from VGW Holdings, we are now able to offer an expanded range of pantry essentials to those doing it tough in our community. 

The support from VGW comes at a time when demand for food relief is at an all-time high. The donation has allowed us to source more staple items like rice, pasta, flour, tinned vegetables, and sauces making it easier for families to prepare nutritious meals at home. 

In a year when 370,000 households in Western Australia faced moderate to severe food insecurity, VGW’s support is helping us to ensure that more Western Australians have everyday food essentials on hand which is a powerful way to provide dignity and choice during challenging times. 

The current range includes 20 staple products and will now offer an additional 38 items to better support our customers. 

The expansion will allow us to provide a more diverse and inclusive product range that reflects the cultural, dietary, and nutritional needs of the community. Our focus is to ensure we focus on including allergen-friendly options and culturally relevant staples to ensure we can support everyone who turns us for help. 

Initially, the expanded range will include oats, black tea, lactose-free UHT full cream milk, hygiene products, dishwashing liquid and laundry powder, before the remainder of the range is introduced. 

Our partnership with VGW is already having a real and immediate impact across the state, and we’re incredibly grateful to VGW Holdings for stepping up when it matters most.
