Are you a registered charity looking for ways to improve food access for your clients?
As a Foodbank charity partner, you can purchase low-cost groceries including staples like sauce bases, pasta, rise and canned meals for your charity to prepare or distribute. You can also refer your clients to Foodbank so they can shop with us directly at low cost.
Foodbank is Australia’s largest food relief organisation. In Western Australia we support over 470 registered charity partners that provide food assistance and emergency relief, including vouchers, hampers and pre-cooked meals. We work with charities both big and small.
Everyone should have access to good quality food. Together, let’s make that happen.
Register your charity and become our partner
As soon as your charity is registered with Foodbank WA, you’ll be able to refer clients and purchase lower-priced groceries to continue your great work.
To register your charity, please follow our Partner agency registration guide. You’ll need:
- Details on the emergency food assistance services you provide.
- A copy of your ACNC charity registration.
Charity partner registrations last for five years. Don’t worry, we’ll send you a reminder at the end of each five-year period to renew your registration.
Refer your clients to Foodbank WA
Our charity partner guide explains how you can refer clients once your charity is registered.
You’ll need to assess each client for hardship through your existing assessment processes. Or, you can use the Emergency Relief and Food Access Service on 1800 979 777 to assess your client over the phone and provide a referral.
As you refer clients, please point them to our Shopping at Foodbank WA Guide which includes all the info they’ll need to get started.
