Philanthropic Giving
How your philanthropic support can help end hunger in our communities
Through the power of Philanthropy
You can help transform short-term food relief into lasting impact by funding the projects and partnerships that deliver sustainable food security for everyone that who needs it. Because community resilience starts with food.
At Foodbank NSW and ACT, Philanthropists are enabling us to ensure more food gets to the families who need it.
Through your generosity, we can invest in additional feeding programs food relief for school children, weekend and school holiday hamper programs for families, and securing critical infrastructure projects. These combine to ensure every month, we are able to distribute over one million kilos of food to families who need it.
With one in three households across NSW and the ACT facing food insecurity (Foodbank Hunger Report, 2025) the support of visionary, philanthropic-minded people is more important now than ever.
Whether you are an individual, a family foundation, a Private Ancillary Fund, or a trust and foundation, we value your leadership and advocacy immensely.
We would love to start a conversation to see how we can work with you to meet your philanthropic goals.

“We were always impressed with Foodbank and the work that it does. So being a supporter was an easy decision to make. The focus areas for our Foundation are health, education and basic human needs. Increasingly, and where possible we look to direct our resources into areas where there is the possibility of contributing to systemic change. So, we were excited to hear about the schools program that Foodbank operates. Hearing about the difference that a breakfast makes to both the learning and behavioural outcomes of children made us want to
get behind this initiative and provide some meaningful support.” “This program has the possibility of changing the education outcomes for children participating, enhancing both their
future and also the people around them.”
