How will you raise money for food relief?

Individuals, community groups, schools and businesses all get involved raising funds for Foodbank WA.

We’d love your help too when it comes to community fundraising for food assistance.

For every dollar you raise, we can provide two meals to Western Australians going without. That means even a small amount raised goes a long way to helping the 371,000 Western Australians who experience food insecurity every year.

The sky’s the limit for community, work and school fundraising ideas – so be creative!

Here are some options to inspire you when fundraising for Foodbank WA. We source and distribute meals nationwide – supporting charities, schools and communities in need.

$1 raised = 2 meals provided. Together, we can get food to those who need it.

You can help source meals for people who need them when you hold a food drive. From canned meals and vegetables, to bags of rice and pasta, your generous donations will help families who need urgent food relief.
Are you the kind of person who has everything they need? Do friends and family members struggle to find you the perfect present? Save them that struggle and ask them to give you a gift that keeps on giving – a donation to Foodbank WA.
Gather your friends, colleagues, and family together and host an event to raise money for Foodbank WA. There are endless ideas for charity events in WA such as morning teas, bake sales, trivia nights, dinner parties, game nights, and the list goes on.
Participate in an event and get sponsored. Run, ride, swim, climb or hike, all while helping us raise money for food relief. You get the double satisfaction of taking on your personal challenge and raising funds to help fellow Western Australians.
Already holding an event where a raffle or live auction could take place? Collect donations of goods or services from local businesses and start selling tickets. (Just make sure you check first if permits are required.)
Whether you dress up or dress down, leave the uniform in the cupboard and donate a gold coin for the occasion. Your proceeds can help Foodbank WA keep hunger at bay in the community.
Have a business? Donate a percentage of sales from a particular product, or for a particular time period. This is a great opportunity to create a point of difference in the market, helps raise awareness while also raising valuable support for us.
