They had attended the Busselton Swim which saw more than 4,000 participants and were energised by the opportunity to spend time with partners and local supporters.

The night was full of warmth and gratitude. Many of our customers took the time to personally thank Harvey Fresh for their ongoing support. Their messages were heartfelt and left a lasting impression on our valuable partners. A family currently experiencing homelessness attended and were shown unexpected kindness when a member of the public offered them $100 so the children could enjoy a small treat. Another moment saw volunteers offer food to a man sleeping rough nearby. These gestures captured the dignity and care that Community Cinemas brings to life.

Every attendee received a beanbag, drink and popcorn. Even though we had shared this ahead of time, people were still surprised and delighted. It helped make the evening feel truly special.

Those who attended were loved the night and commented on the joy they witnessed among customers and volunteers and the clear impact community events like this have.
