Foodbank Australia x Coles Community Food Relief Appeal
Many Australians are struggling to put food on the table, with 3.6 million experiencing food hardship for the first time in the past six months. New research shows a hidden wave of households going without enough food as cost-of-living pressures continue to rise. As the colder months take their toll, more families are turning to food relief for support. From 5 August to 1 September 2026, Foodbank, Second Bite and Coles are once again joining forces for the Coles Community Food Relief Appeal.
Your Guide to Giving Back
There are a few simple ways you can support Foodbank:
1. Include the following products on your next shop, either in-store or online
By including any or all of the following products in your next shop, you will trigger a cash donation that will come directly to Foodbank:
Don Smallgoods – For every Don Sliced and Shaved Meats (160–200g).
Heinz – Every Heinz Ketchup (500ml), Mayonnaise (295ml), or Aioli (295ml).
Zerella Fresh – Spud Lite Potatoes.
Red Tractor Foods – Every Red Tractor product.
Table of Plenty – Every Table of Plenty product.
Together, we can help put food on the table for Australians in need.
2. Donate when checking out
You can also choose to donate in-store at the checkout.
Whatever way you choose to get involved in the campaign, you can do so with the knowledge that every cent generated will go towards helping Australians who are doing it tough – because together, we can end hunger in Australia.
