A gift in your Will

Remembering Foodbank WA in your Will is a reflection of your care for those in your community who are in need–not only today, but well into tomorrow.
Philanthropic gifts and bequests will help us provide emergency food relief to those who are going through tough times. Gifts of any size can make a big difference.

A gift in your Will for Foodbank WA is a positive, life-changing contribution that will help us achieve a Western Australia without hunger.
Making a Will and leaving a legacy is a very personal decision. A Will ensures your personal wishes will be honoured. It’s also the first step in supporting the people and causes you love and care about. You should consult a legal advisor, such as a solicitor or trustee, to ensure your Will is subject to the laws of Western Australia.
It’s important to review your Will regularly. Key milestones to update your Will include:
- marriage
- birth
- separation or divorce
- retirement
- death in the family
To make a Gift in Will to Foodbank WA, we suggest the following wording:
“I bequeath to Foodbank of Western Australia Inc, of 23 Abbott Road, Perth Airport WA 6105, for its general purposes (insert the sum of $…. /or portion of estate/ or description of property). I declare that the receipt of the treasurer or other proper officer shall be sufficient discharge for my executors and/or trustees.”
We’ve partnered with Willed to provide an easy way for you to do this.

Donations in lieu of a gift or flowers
When a cause has touched the life of a relative or friend, you might wish to commemorate that person in a way that can continue that cause. One way of doing this is to request that a Foodbank donation be made in place of birthday presents and other gifts, or flowers at a funeral. Most undertakers can organise this as part of their service, but you can also directly donate to Foodbank WA.
If you’d like to arrange a donation, please get in touch.
