How Foodbank WA raises funds

Fundraising directly helps us to keep the lights on and get food where it needs to go.
At Foodbank WA, our services are largely powered by donated food and donated time.
But essential funds find their way to Foodbank in a variety of ways:
- Community fundraisers and events
- Regular individual donations via The Giving Pantry.
- Corporate donations and Workplace Giving.
- Charitable bequests to Foodbank through personal Wills.
You can make all the difference
People and businesses in the community are a huge driver of fundraising for Foodbank WA. That’s why we’re so grateful to:
- Every person who holds a fundraiser or a foodraiser.
- Every person who gives what they can when they see our volunteers in purple.
- Every business and organisation that gives and encourages giving.
34% of all Australian households are experiencing food insecurity. We’re all about getting help where it’s needed in an effective and efficient way. That’s why every amount raised makes a real difference in feeding change.
Even a single dollar raised for Foodbank goes a long way. In fact, we can supply two meals for every dollar donated.

Get involved
Whether you donate to Foodbank WA with funds or food, give your time through volunteering, or simply spread the word, your involvement helps to feed hope and grow more resilient communities.
No one can do everything–but everyone can do something!
Individuals, community groups, schools and businesses all get involved raising funds for Foodbank WA. We’d love your help too when it comes to community fundraising for food assistance.
