Dalyellup Hub
takes shape in South West WA

The site is starting to take shape, with the building pad complete and the external walls now standing proudly. Seeing the structure emerge from the ground marks a major step forward in the project and provides a clear glimpse of what will soon become a vital hub for food relief and community support in the region.  

Towards the end of July, construction moved into another important phase, with roof works commencing. As the roof is installed, the building will begin to be fully enclosed, bringing us one step closer to an operational facility. Visible progress continues week by week, and it’s exciting to see the vision becoming a reality.  

Visitors to the site may also have noticed our new project sign, proudly recognising and thanking the funding partners whose generosity and support have helped make this development possible. Their investment is helping create a lasting community asset that will strengthen our ability to support people experiencing food insecurity across the South West.  

Expressions of Interest for the Dalyellup public artworks have closed and we are excited to see the creative submissions that reflect the community, connection and purpose at the heart of this new facility for the large-scale exterior mural, a graphic design package and a professional photography suite. 

Most encouragingly, the project remains on track for practical completion in mid-December, with a move into the new facility anticipated in early 2027. We look forward to sharing more updates as construction continues and this exciting project reaches its next milestones.
