A Gift of Hope:
A Bequest to Foodbank
Some gifts continue making a difference long after we are gone.
A bequest to Foodbank WA is a meaningful way to support fellow Western Australians, helping provide food, nutrition education, hope and practical support to individuals, families and communities facing tough times.
Supporting Foodbank through a gift in your Will is a powerful way to create a lasting impact for fellow Western Australians. It is a gift that helps ensure people experiencing food insecurity can continue to access nutritious food, essential support and hope for the future.
The generosity of bequest donors makes a meaningful difference to the communities that rely on our services. Recently, a long-time supporter of Foodbank Geraldton sadly passed away. In a final act of kindness and community spirit, the donor chose to leave a bequest to Foodbank to support the community that was part of their life. In accordance with their wishes, the gift will be used to support the Geraldton community they cared so deeply about, helping local people access food and support when they need it most.
Every bequest, regardless of size, has the potential to create meaningful lasting change. These gifts help fund vital Foodbank programs and services, from nom! nutrition education sessions that build food literacy and healthy habits, to Mobile Foodbanks that bring affordable food closer to communities. Bequests can also support emergency food relief and help us continue expanding our reach across Western Australia, ensuring more people can access the assistance they need.
For many Western Australians, bequests represent more than a financial contribution. They are a reflection of shared values, compassion and a commitment to building stronger communities for future generations.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who chooses to remember Foodbank in their Will. Their generosity leaves a lasting legacy, helping us provide food, dignity and support to people across the state for years to come.
