Create your will at no cost

From 7 to 13 September, Foodbank will be participating in Free Wills Week, giving our staff, volunteers and supporters the opportunity to create or update their Will at no cost.

While the campaign provides a practical benefit, it is about much more than simply writing a Will.

It’s an opportunity for people to take an important step in protecting the people and causes they care about most.

A Will helps ensure loved ones are provided for, wishes are clearly documented, and future plans are in place. It’s also a timely reminder for people to consider whether their current Will still reflects their circumstances and priorities.

When discussing your Will, think about who you would like to provide for in the future, what you would like to leave to family and loved ones, whether your existing Will is up to date and the causes and organisations that have been meaningful throughout your lifetime.

Once you have considered your loved ones, you may also choose to leave a gift in your Will to a cause you care about.

A gift in a Will is more than a financial contribution. For many people, it is a meaningful way to leave a lasting legacy and continue supporting a cause that has made a difference in your life.

These future gifts help ensure important community services can continue for generations to come, allowing you to make a positive impact well beyond your lifetime.

To receive your Will free of charge, you must complete your checkout by 11.59pm on 13 September.

After checkout, you will have 12 months to return to your Will and make unlimited updates at no additional cost. Once finalised, the Will can be printed, signed and witnessed to make it legally valid.

An additional benefit available through the campaign is a free legal review by Willed’s in-house legal team, providing extra peace of mind that your wishes are accurately reflected.

This means you will not only receiving a free Will; you will gain a full year of flexibility to update your Will as life circumstances change.

Free Wills Week is a valuable opportunity for you to secure your future plans, protect the people you love and, if you choose, create a lasting legacy for the causes that matter most to you.

Please note that this promotion is only available from 7 to 13 September and is capped at 200 Wills, so ensure you get in quick.
