Hawaiian Giving Box returns for the Festive Season

The festive season is fast approaching, which means the much-loved Hawaiian Giving Box at Claremont Quarter will soon be underway. 

This annual initiative is about much more than gift wrapping. It’s an opportunity for our community to come together and help raise vital funds and food for Western Australians experiencing food insecurity during one of the most challenging times of the year. 

Many of our volunteers have supported Foodbank WA fundraising events in the past, and we’re excited to once again invite our incredible volunteer community to be part of this special campaign. Every shift helps make a meaningful difference, contributing to Foodbank WA’s mission to feed change and ensure everyone has access to nutritious food when they need it most. 

Whether you’re a seasoned gift-wrapper or simply keen to lend a hand, your support will help bring a little extra joy to families across Western Australia this Christmas.

Event details

Location: Claremont Quarter | 9 Bay View Terrace, Claremont – Level 2, outside David Jones 

Dates: 7 December to 24 December 2026 

Shift options (times may vary slightly depending on the day):

• Morning: 9.30am to 12.30pm
• Midday: 12.00pm to 4.00pm
• Afternoon: 2.00pm to 6.00pm

Volunteer roles:

• Customer service
• Gift wrapping

No experience is necessary. We’ll provide all the training, support, and gift-wrapping tips you’ll need to feel confident in the role.

The impact you help create

We are excited to be partnering with Hawaiian for the 14th year of the Hawaiian Giving Box. 

Thanks to the incredible support of volunteers, donors, and shoppers, in 2025 we: 

• Raised over $50,000, helping provide more than 100,000 meals for families in need 
Collected an impressive 4,500kg of non-perishable food donations

These achievements demonstrate the powerful impact we can make when we work together. Your generosity and support help ensure that no Western Australian has to face hunger alone, especially during the holiday season.
