Making bigger impact

Our extensive logistics capability enables us to collect, transport, sort, store and distribute food across both metropolitan and regional Western Australia. Working closely with producers, processors and warehouse operators, we create an efficient and sustainable pathway from farm gate and factory floor to over 500 charity partners and to the people who need it most – families and individuals. 

Foodbank WA works across the food relief sector to get food to people who need it.

We help organisations maximise donations and share surplus food with partners including OzHarvest WA and SecondBite, reaching more people and reducing waste. We also advocate for the sector across WA, highlighting shared challenges and the support needed to meet community need. 

Our sourcing, warehousing and distribution network supports this collaboration, helping partners make the best use of surplus food and strengthening food relief across WA. 

Every kilogram of food rescued represents more than a meal. It represents support for individuals, families and communities facing hardship, while also delivering significant environmental benefits through the reduction of food waste. Together with our industry and sector partners, we are helping build a stronger, more collaborative and food-secure Western Australia, ensuring more good food reaches more people, more often.
